Celia M. Olszewski

Celia M. Olszewski, 97, of Forest City, died Tuesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.

Born July 10, 1916, in Forest City, daugher of the late Charles and Pauline Orloski Olszewski. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and it's Altar and Rosary Society, and now Ascension Parish. Prior to retirement she was a garment worker at Ames Factory and was active with the ILGWU. Celia was a good bowler and an excellent baker. She was a loving sister and aunt and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by by a sister Alyce Suponsic, Forest City and many lovely nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Charles, and five sisters, Sophie Sardinski, Mary Granatowicz, Anna Fielding, Kathryn Doyle, and Bridget Puntar.

Funeral will be Saturday at 10 am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Forest City.
