Cecelia "Bunny" Tusar

Cecelia “Bunny” Tusar, 85, of Forest City, died Sunday afternoon at Geisinger Community Medical Center.

Born September 23, 1935, in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Celia Erzen Tusar. Bunny was a graduate of Forest City High School and a member of Ascension Parish. Prior to retirement she was a daycare provider at the Carbondale YMCA. She liked listening to polkas and she loved to go shopping. She especially loved her niece, nephew and great niece and nephew. She enjoyed making crafts with them and for them.

Bunny is survived by her sister Sue Zawisky, Baldwinsville, NY; a brother Herman Tusar, Endicott, NY; a niece Laurie Campbell; a nephew Steve Zawisky, a great nephew Bryson and a great niece Kailyn.

As per Bunny's request, there will be no services and cremation is through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
