Cecelia T. Maysa

Cecelia T. Maysa, 87, Pleasant mount, died Tuesday morning at her son George's home in Piscataway, NJ. Her husband Joseph L. Maysa died in 1978.

Born December 20, 1924, in Mayfield, PA, daughter of the late Walter and Anna Lisowski Barron. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and writing to her sister in NY. She would read her morning paper from front to back. Celia like to feed the birds in her back yard especially the blue birds and hummingbirds. She enjoyed going to her class reunions and she loved her grandchildren and family. She had a way with words and could talk to anyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are 2 sons, Joseph Maysa, Edison, NJ, George and wife Isabella Maysa, Piscataway, NJ; a daughter Joyce and husband Edward Cerar, Pleasant Mount; a sister Eleanor Wiss, Averill Park, NY; grandchildren, Brian and Lauretta Maysa, Kristin and Frank Kreider, Brandon Maysa, Beth and Jason Lamm, Kim Cerar, and Edward Cerar; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be Friday at 9:30 am in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Joseph's Church, Delaware Street, Forest City. Internment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Forest City. Viewing, Thursday from 5 - 8 pm.
