Bernice "Stas" Glodek, 87, a lifelong resident of Riverside, NJ went to be with Jesus on November 10, 2011 at the Forest City Nursing Center, Forest City, PA after a lingering illness. Her husband of 46 years was the late Frank G. Glodek who died in 1996.
Born January 5, 1924, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Maciejewska Ganski. She was a beloved and cherished mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be remembered kindly by everyone who knew her. Bernice was filled with love for her family and now is leaving us this legacy of love to pass down to our children. She was a beautiful confidant with a servant's heart. She gave more than she received and touched our hearts in a special way as only she could have done. She was supportive and funny, and a delight to be around. She will remain a blessing to our family and we hope that we too, can pass down the eternal treasures she molded to us. Bernice was "Mom" and "Friend" and we will love her forever, for "Love Never Dies."
