Barbara Rose (Wojcik) Puchnick

Barbara Rose Puchnick, 82, of Wappingers Falls, NY and formerly of Forest City died Friday October 13, 2023 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. Her husband Andrew Puchnick died in 1986.

Born November 6, 1940 in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Josephine Zebrowski Wojcik,

Barbara worked for IBM for many years. She was active with Wappingers Falls recreation.

She is survived by a sister Margie Orehek; nieces Lori Puchelt (Barry) and Mary Ellen Finver; nephews George Gladwell (Lisa), Frank Orehek (Lori) and Michael Orehek (Marianne).

Barbara is also preceded in death by a sister, Clara Gladwell.

Barb was a gentle soul and had a kind word for everyone she met.

A private blessing service was held on October 18th at St. Joseph's Cemetey, Forest City. Funeral arrangements are through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
