B. Bloxham Christine

Christine B. Bloxham, 83, of Forest City, died Tuesday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Her husband Richard L. Bloxham died in 1988.

Born December 16, 1927, in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late Ignatious and Angeline Jurjorvic Gros. She was a graduate of Forest City High School, a member of the Clifford United Methodist Church, and a homemaker. She was an honorary member of the Phoenix Club. Christine enjoyed sending greeting cards and her true passion was knitting, where she made sweaters for the charity, "Knit for Kids". She also sponsored a boy from the Philippines. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and always had a positive outlook on life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving are three daughters Nyoma and husband Al Schiavone, Windgap, Nanette Bloxham, Dundaff, and Melanie and husband Jack McHale, Browndale; two sons Richard and wife Denise Bloxham, West Clifford, and Robert and wife Judy Bloxham, Clifford Twp, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Stanley and Ray; sisters Mary, Jean, and Angeline;sons Gregory and Roger; and a grandson Robert Jr.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Clifford United Methodist Church, Route 106, Main Street, Clifford. Interment in Willow View Cemetery, Clifford.

Viewing Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City and Saturday from noon until service time at the church.
