Anna Valentine

Anna Valentine, formerly of Browndale, and a resident at Hunterdon Care Center, Flemington, NJ died Thursday morning. Her husband of 63 years is Earl Valentine, Flemington, NJ.

Born January 31, 1931 in Browndale, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Apalonia Gavornic Yurkovic. Anna was a member of Ascension Parish. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and crocheting. Her family was her greatest priority.

Also surviving are three children, Joseph Valentine, Mt. Carmel; Patricia Longworth, Hickory, NC, and Michael Valentine, Gillette, NJ; four grandchildren, Judy, Timothy, Allison, and Susan; 4 great grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew, Logan, and Cole; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers John, Joseph, and Frank, and three sisters Mary, Josephine, and Theresa.

Funeral will be Monday from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Forest City. Viewing on Sunday from 1-3 pm.
