Andrew "Hank" Petronchak

Andrew "Hank" Petronchak, 89, of Starlight and formerly of Little Falls, NJ, died Tuesday at the Forest City Nursing Center. His wife Mary Majdic Petronchak died in 2008.

Born September 12, 1921, in Richmondale, he was the son of the late Basil and Anna Risboskin Petronchak. He served in WWII as a corporal in the Army Air Corp., prior to retirement he was a welder for Essex Conveyor, Nutley, NJ. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are two sons, John and wife Sabrina, Vernon, NJ, and Robert and wife Lisa, Independence, NJ; a daughter-in-law Donna Petronchak, West Milford, NJ, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, Brothers-in-law, Henry and wife Ann Majdic and John Majdic, both of Vandling, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son William.

Funeral will be Friday at 9:30am from the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, with mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart Church, Forest City. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Forest City. Viewing Thursday from 6 - 9 pm.
