Agnes T. Anderson

Agnes T. Anderson, 97, of Pleasant Mount passed away peacefully, Wednesday May 8th, after a short illness.

Born October 22, 1921 in Patterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Janet Forsyth Anderson. Agnes was a member of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Little Falls, NJ Chapter. Although she had no children of her own, she was like a second mother and a loving part in the lives of many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was an accomplished seamstress and every year she made the Halloween costumes for all the children in her family. She was a pillar in her family. Among her favorite things was chocolate. She was a chocolate connoisseur.

She is greatly missed by her family and many friends, and will be in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her nephews Robert and James Stanaback, Alex and Glen Anderson; niece Janet Jenner; great nephews and nieces, David, Christine, and Daniel Stanaback, Scott and Jason Kennedy; and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her sister Jane Stanaback and brother John Anderson.

Cremation is through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City, PA.
