Rose M. (Voglino) Ondrako

Rose Ondrako, 82, of Forest City, died Thursday morning at the Forest City Nursing Center. Her husband Joseph Ondrako died in 2005.

Born November 2, 1934 in Carbondale, She was the daughter of the late Victor and Madeline Saurino Voglino. Rose graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School. She enjoyed cooking and watching her soap operas. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wayne Memorial Hospital and the Forest City Nursing Center for the compassionate care given to their mother.

Surviving are 5 sons Richard and wife Lorraine, Archbald; Steven and wife Linda, Olyphant; Joseph, Forest City; Robert, Forest City; Raymond and wife Crystal, Forest City; 2 daughters Joann Durst, Forest City; and Christina Brown, MD; two sisters Madeline Sanzo and husband Ted, Lake Ariel; and Mary Skasko, Carbondale; four brothers Tommy Voglino and wife Mary, Carbondale; Victor Voglino and wife Susan, Archbald; Michael Voglino and wife Donna, Carbondale; and Augustine Voglino and wife Mary, Carbondale; 11 grandchildren Sandra, Vicky, Philip, Michael, Miranda, R.J., Katrina, Amanda, Emily, Kallen, and Sara; 5 great grandchildren Rowan, Fletcher, Nora, Damian, and Lillian, nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death by two sisters Lillian and Debbie; and a brother Anthony.

Viewing will be Sunday from 4 to 6 pm with a blessing service at 6pm in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City. Interment will be private.
