Robert T. Glenwright

Robert Trezise Glenwright, Jr.,83, of Browndale, died Thursday morning at home surrounded by his family. His wife of 58 years is the former Barbara Rita Villar.

Born October 9, 1934 in Pottsville, son of the late Robert and Kathryn Davis Glenwright. Bob graduated from Mastbaum High School in Philadelphia. He served in the Army and the Navy Reserves. On September 12, 1959 he married the love of his life, Barbara. Together they had five children. He worked at the Frankfort Arsenal and retired from the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. Bob loved cars, the Philadelphia Eagles, his children and grandchildren.

Also surviving are daughters Linda and husband Samuel Long; Susan and husband Joseph Waters; Karen Glenwright; and Lori Glenwright; a son David Glenwright and wife Lisa; thirteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be Monday at 11:15am in the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc. 621 Main Street, Simpson. Interment is private. Visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11:15am.
