Vickie Jo (Lockett) Gregg

Vickie Jo Gregg, 58, of Carbondale, died Sunday morning at Regional Hospital, Scranton.

Born February 28, 1958 in Binghamton, NY, daughter of the late Edward Lockett and Sallie Russell Lockett Emmons and step daughter of the late William Emmons, she was a graduate of Forest City High School and previously worked as a medical records secretary for Marian Community Hospital and Regional Hospital. She was a lover of yard sales and a talented baker.

Surviving are a son Joshua Gregg, Carbondale; 4 sisters, Linda and husband Pat Gormley, NJ; Bonnie and husband Gene Corey, Moscow; Jill and husband Joseph Baron, Forest City; and Wendy Emmons, Forest City; a brother, William R. Emmons and wife Angie, IL; a sister in law Marge Lockett and companion George Emmons, Herrick Center; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Danny Lockett.

Visitation will be Friday from 9 – 11am with a blessing service at 11 in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City. Interment will be private.
