OkYon Anna Connor, 71, of Pleasant Mount, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 at home. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael Connor.

Born in Hamchang-eup, South Korea, she left everything behind to start a new life in the United States in 1974, earning her citizenship in 2010. She dedicated herself to her family as a devoted wife and mother. Anna enjoyed movies and knitting and was a skillful seamstress. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing but most of all treasured spending time at home with her family.

Also surviving are her two children, son Matthew Connor and wife Laura, Van Etten, NY, daughter Michele George and husband Lucas, Saylorburg, PA; four grandchildren, Shannon Connor, Michael Connor, Jacob George and Emma George.

Funeral arrangements are private through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
