November 26, 1932 ~ November 17, 2017 (age 84)

Joseph “Joe Martin” Miluszusky, 84, of Richmondale, died Friday morning at the Forest City Nursing Center. His wife, the former Ann E. Shino died in 2011.

Born November 26, 1932 in Browndale, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lottie Abromanviciute Miluszusky. His father was an inventor and successful businessman and founder of the Browndale Feed Store. Joe graduated from Forest City High School and attended radio school in New York City. Joe was famously known as Martin in the morning on WCDL radio in Carbondale for over 20 years beginning in the late 50’s. He was the creator of Scholastic which showcased over 20 area high school scholars who competed weekly with the program played back on Sunday afternoons on WCDL. The championship match was broadcast each year on WVIA TV.
