Frank H. Gardner

Frank H. Gardner, 85, of Forest City, died Thursday at the Forest City Nursing Home. His wife Arlene Chernicky Gardner died in 1999.

Born November 23, 1931, He is the son of Raymond and Mae Arnold Gardner. He was a Korean War veteran and worked as a land surveyor prior to retirement. He bowled in the Forest City Men's Bowling League and was vice chairman of the Greenfield Twp. Historical Society.

Surviving is a sister, Beth Macpherson, Geneva, NY; and a good friend Clara Gardner, Carbondale.

Preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Melvern

A blessing service will be Saturday at 12:00pm by pastor Jay Best, in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City. Viewing will be Saturday from 10am until noon.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Greenfield Twp. Historical Society.
