Catherine (Woodyshek) Malsch

Catherine “Kay” Malsch, 84, of Vandling, died Sunday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Born November 18, 1932, in Vandling, daughter of the late John and Mary Kelly Woodyshek. She was a graduate of St. Rose High School and Marywood College. She was a member of Ascension Parish and the Red Hat Society. Prior to retirement Kay worked as a secretary for Beloit-Manhattan. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are a son John Malsch and wife Priscilla, New Smyrna Beach, FL; sisters Ellen Lafferty, Vandling and Margaret Smith, VT; a grandson Brian John; nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death by a brother Joseph Woodyshek and sisters Ann Sherry and Mary Rebernik.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street Forest City. Interment will be at a later date in St. Agnes Cemetery, Forest City.
