Bruce David Perine, 83, of Browndale, died Thursday at the Carbondale Nursing Home. His wife is the former Marilyn O'Meara.

Born September 23, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Katheryn Byrne Perine. Prior to retirement, Bruce worked for Grumman Aerospace in Long Island. He was a veteran of the Navy and served during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW. He was a history buff and enjoyed life. Bruce was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Also surviving are children, Kathy Morris, Susan Brodsky, Joseph Gugliucci, Dawn Werkmeister, Sean Gugliucci, Robert Polinsky, and Chris Polinsky; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday November 12 at 11 am in St. Joseph's Church, Forest City, Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until Mass time at the church. Arrangements are through the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
